Extra Details:
CD123 is the 70kD transmembrane a chain of the IL-3 receptor. Alone, CD123 binds IL-3 with low affinity; when CD123 associates with CDw131 (common B chain), it binds IL-3 with high affinity. CD123 does not transduce intracellular signals upon binding IL-3 and requires the B chain for this function. CD123 is expressed by myeloid precursors, macrophages, dendritic cells, mast cells, basophils, megakaryocytes, and some B cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Reported in literature to work in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry (Acetone-fixed, frozen, and paraffin-embedded sections) and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤1ug/10e6 cells in 100ul volume or 100ul of whole blood. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
