Extra Details:: Applications: ELISA Detection: Useful as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying mouse IL-3 protein levels.2,3,5 Biotinylated antibody should be paired with purified antibody (Cat. No. I7663-39T) as the capture antibody, with purified recombinant mouse IL-3 as the standard. Western Blot: The purified antibody is also useful for Western blot applications. For Western blotting, a concentration of 1-5ug/ml (in conjunction with AP-labeled Goat Anti-Rat-Ig) has been found to enable detection of ≤ 100ng/lane of recombinant mouse IL-3 under reducing conditions. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
