- Interkeukin-2 is a pleiotropic cytokine produced primarily by mitogenic or antigen activated T lymphocytes. IL-2 plays a key role in T cell proliferation and promotes the proliferation, expansion and differentiation of a wide variety of antigen specific cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 5-10ug/ml Functional Assays: 2-20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0-Ag myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo I1904-06H: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
