Extra Details:: Interferon gamma is a 143 amino acid, ~20kD, immunomodulatory cytokine secreted predominantly by T lymphocytes in response to infection by invading micro-organisms. Interferon gamma enhances cytotoxic activities of many cell types including macrophages, NK cells and T lymphocytes (Weiss et al. 2002). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Required membrane permeabilization. ELISA: 5ug/ml (capture) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pair: Suitable for use as the capture or solid phase antibody Matched to I7661-68J or I7661-68J3 as the detection antibodies Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
