- Extra Details:
- Human Integrin beta 7 (also Integrin beta P and M290 IEL Ag) is a 120kD member of the integrin beta chain family of molecules. It is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that contains a 704aa extracellular domain (ECD) (aa20-723) and a 52aa cytoplasmic tail. The ECD contains one von Willebrand factor A domain (aa150-389) and four cysteine-rich EGF-like repeats. One splice variant exists that shows a deletion of aa501-648. Integrin beta 7 forms a nondisulfide linked heterodimer with alpha 4 and alpha E integrins. Alpha 4 beta7 binds fibronectin, VCAM-1 and MADCAM1, while alpha E beta7 binds E-cadherin. The ECD of human beta 7 is 87% aa identical to the ECD of mouse beta 7. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Direct ELISA and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug/10e6 cells using human peripheral blood lymphocytes Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml using immersion fixed human peripheral blood lymphocytes Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
