Extra Details:: b1-Integrins mediate cell-extracellular matrix interactions and share a common b-subunit. Monoclonal antibodies against this b1-Integrin subunit are applicable in paraffin-embedded and frozen sections, immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation. Numerous studies have shown that b1 -Integrins have a distinct and wide cellular distribution and that there are alterations in malignant cells in their b1-integrin expression. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
