- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for use in Western Blot since the epitope most likely involves both alpha 6 and beta 1 integrin subunit. Does not block alpha 6 integrin mediated cell adhesion to laminin. Activation of integrin signaling properties by MA6 has not been characterized. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Immunocytochemistry: Cell lines tested by using antibody to express alpha 6 integrins include: mouse bone marrow-derived mast cells, melanoma cell line B16F1, squamous carcinoma SCC-VII, fibroblast cell line NIH-3T3, splenic T lymphocytes, thymocytes and various T cell lines. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Cells lines that express Integrin alpha6: Mouse bone marrow-derived mast cells, melanoma cell line B16F1, ssquamous carcinoma SCC-VII, fibroblast cell line NIH-3T3, splenic T-lymphocytes, thymocytes and various T-cell lines. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
