- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections) and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200, Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10 6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry: Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells from NS-O mouse myeloma cell line. Positive Control: Tonsil Negative Control: Mouse IgG2a Negative Control Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
