- KLH-conjugated, synthetic peptide (…S[AcK]SAPAPK[AcK]GS[AcK]KAIT[AcK]AQ…) in which AcK corresponds to acetyl-lysine at residues 5, 12, 15 and 20 of human Histone H2B. The immunizing sequence has 24 out of 26 identical amino acids in mouse, rat and bovine.

- Supplied as a liquid in 0.1M Tris-glycine, pH 7.4, 0.15M sodium chloride, 0.05% sodium azide before the addition of glycerol to 30%.
- Extra Details:
- Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:40,000-1:80,000 detected acetylated Histone H2B in sodium butyrate treated, acid extracted proteins from HeLa cells. Unacetylated recombinant Histone H2B was not detected. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
