- Extra Details:
- Insertion of a 6-histidine tag creates a stable fusion product that does not interfere with the bioactivity of the protein or with the biodistribution of the His-tagged product. Such proteins are purified by immobilized metal ion afftinity chromatography which makes use of its high affinity for transition metal ion. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Dot Blot, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1ug/ml Flow Cytometry: 1ug/ml ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: SP2/0-Ag14 mouse myeloma cells fused with spleen cells. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
