Extra Details:: Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: Reactive with human Hepatitis C Virus core protein. No reaction with HCV non-structural protein. Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml will allow visualization of 0.1u/lane of recombinant CPC+EPM (core), 0.5ug/lane synthetic CPC, and 0.1ug/lane recombinant chimeric HCV polyprotein. Testing is under both reducing and non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
