Extra Details:
Human HSP40 (heat shock protein with molecular size of 40kD) is one of the mammalian homologues of bacterial DnaJ heat shock protein and regulates cellular processes by aiding in the folding, transport and assembly. HSP40 protein contains the J-domain which controls interaction with the ATPase domain of DnaK. Hybridoma: Mouse SP2/O myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human Hsp40 protein. Source: Ascites Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blotting. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blotting: 1:1000-1:2000. Cell lysates of Jurkat (50ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to NC membrane and probed with anti-human Hsp40 (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50?. Freeze at -20°C or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
