- Extra Details:
- The 104kD yeast heat shock protein (Hsp104) is a cytosolic member of the Hsp100 family of proteins. Hsp104 cooperates with Hsp40 and Hsp70 co-chaperones in yeast in the reactivation of heat-damaged proteins. Hsp104 is also critical for the establishment and maintenance of the [PSI] prion phenotype in Saccharomyces cerevesiae. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot (ECL): 1:1,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
