Extra Details:: Hsp70 is a member of the Hsp family of highly conserved proteins that play a role in a number of important functions. Their synthesis is increased upon environmental stress. They function by acting as molecular chaperones, facilitating protein refolding and preventing protein aggregation. It has been reported that extracellular Hsp70 also exhibits immunomodulatory effects on innate and acquired immunity. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.25-1ug/ml Immunocytochemistry: 1-5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
