- Heat shock proteins, HSP's or stress response proteins SRP's, are synthesized in a variety of environmental and pathophysiological stressful conditions. Many HSP's are involved in processes such as protein denaturation-renaturation, folding-unfolding, transport-translocation, activation-inactivation, and secretion. HSP70 is found to be associated with steroid receptors, actin, p53, polyoma T antigen, nucleotides, and other unknown proteins. Also, HSP70 has been shown to be involved in protective roles against thermal stress, cytotoxic drugs, and other damaging conditions. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile dH20. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
