- Hemopoietic cell kinase (Hck) is a member of the Src family of tyrosine kinases. Hck expression is prominent in cells of myeloid lineage, particularly in granulocytes and monocytes, with protein levels increasing during terminal differentiation and macrophage activation. Hck contains a unique amino-terminal domain that is subject to lipid modifications, targeting this kinase to the plasma membrane. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml. Tested using A20 mouse B cell lymphoma cell line, DA3 mouse myeloma cell line, Raji human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line, and Ramos human Burkitt's lymphoma cell line. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
