MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Haemophilus influenzae is a small (1x3um), pleomorphic, gram-negative coccobacillus. It is a nonmotile, non-spore-forming, fastidious, facultative anaerobe. Some strains of H. influenzae possess a polysaccharide capsule. All strains are serotyped into 6 different types (a-f) based on their biochemically different capsules. The most virulent strain is H. influenzae type b (Hib), with its polyribosyl ribitol phosphate (PRP) capsule. It accounts for more than 95% of H. influenzae invasive diseases, including bacteremia, meningitis, cellulitis, epiglottitis, septic arthritis, pneumonia, and empyema. Less common invasive Hib infections include endophthalmitis, urinary tract infection, abscesses, cervical adenitis, glossitis, osteomyelitis, and endocarditis. The nonencapsulated or nontypeable H. influenzae strains cause mucosal infections, including otitis media, conjunctivitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia. Less commonly, these strains cause invasive disease. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Immunofluorescence. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
