- MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Granzyme A is involved in the induction of apoptosis via its activity as a serine protease, but this would seem to be subsidiary to the role of Granzyme B. Granzyme A deficient mice are indistinguishable from normal animals in their response to infection. Granzyme A has been proposed as a potential biomarker for patients with active tuberculosis with significantly lower levels present in the plasma of patients with the active form of the disease compared to patients with latent infection. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate pH 6.0 is receommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
