- Extra Details:
- Ly-6G, formerly known as the myeloid differentiation antigen Gr-1, is a GPI-anchored protein.1 In the bone marrow, the level of antigen expression is directly correlated with granulocyte differentiation and maturation. It is also transiently expressed on monocytes in the bone marrow.2 In the periphery, Ly-6G is expressed predominantly on neutrophils.3, 4 Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, In vitro complement-dependent cytotoxicity assays and In vivo depletion of Ly-6G+ cells. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: ≤1ug/10e6 cells Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
