Extra Details:
NADPH Oxidase is comprised of flavocytochrome b558 (made up of p22-phox and gp91-phox), p40-phox, p47-phox and p67-phox. NADPH Oxidase mediates the final steps of electron transfer to oxygen, resulting in the generation of superoxide ion. A growing body of evidence suggests a potential role for oxygen-derived radicals such as superoxide anions and hydrogen peroxide as intracellular signaling molecules that may be involved in cell growth, apoptosis and cellular senescence. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Not recommended for Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1-4ug/ml detects gp91-phox in a HL60 membrane, RIPA cell lysate and human neutrophil membranes. HL60 membrane lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with G8570. Proteins were visualized using a secondary antibody IgG (HRP) Pab GtxRb and a chemiluminescence detection system. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt x Rb I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt x Rb I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt x Rb Positive Control: Lung tissue, human neutrophil membrane, HL60 membrane and RIPA cell lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
