- GnRH receptor contains seven hydrophobic transmembrane domains connected by hydrophilic extracellular and intracellular loops characteristic of G-protein coupled receptors. GnRH stimulates the gonadotrophs of the anterior pituitary to secrete luteinizing hormone (LH) as well as follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM EDTA, pH 8.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Pituitary or normal ovary Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
