Extra Details:: May be involved in learning and memory reactions by increasing the turnover of the excitatory neurotransmitter glutamate. Applications: Suitable for use in Peptide ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Peptide ELISA: 1:32,000 Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml, Detects a band at ~55kD using human and mouse liver lysates. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 3-5ug/ml. Human cerebral cortex shows mitochondrial staining in neuronal cell bodies and axons. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
