- Neurturin is a member of the GDNF family and has an important role in the control of vertebrate neuron survival and differentiation. GFRa2 is a receptor for neurturin. It mediates the NRTN-induced autophosphorylation and activation of the RET receptor. It is also able to mediate GDNF signaling through the RET tyrosine kinase receptor. GRFa2 is a 52kD glycoprotein and is a GPI-linked cell surface receptor. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibody: I1903-30U: IgG, H&L, X-adsorbed (HRP) Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
