- MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. GCET2, commonly known as germinal center B cell expressed transcript 2 protein, is a 178aa protein expressed in diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and several germinal center (GC) like lymphoma cell lines (at protein level). It is highly expressed in normal GC lymphocytes and GC derived malignancies, as well as being present in the thymus and spleen. In B cells expression of the HGAL gene is specifically induced by interleukin 4. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 1-5ug/ml using recombinant protein. Western Blot (Cell lysate): 1-5ug/ml. Specific band identified at ~21kD using Jurkat lysate. Western Blot (Recombinant lysate protein): 1-5ug/ml. Specific band of ~45kD identified using immuogen protein lysate. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
