Extra Details:: Gastrin secreting cells are numerous in the antrum and few are found in the proximal duodenum. The antibody can be used for the diagnosis of gastrin producing tumors which are most found in the pancreas and occasionally in the stomach and duodenum. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:50-1:100 Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:50-1:100 (microwave treatment recommended) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Antrum Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
