Extra Details:
Gamma-aminobutyric acid tye A (GABAA) receptors are members of the neurotransmitter ligand-gated ion channels that mediate neuronal inhibition on binding GABA. The effects of GABA on GABAA receptors are modulated by a range of therapeutically important drugs, including barbiturates, anaesthetics and benzodiazepines. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:500 detected GABA A Receptor beta 2,3 chain on 10ug of mouse brain membrane lysate. Mouse brain membrane lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with G1015-17. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunohistochemistry: 10-20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo I1904-06H: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt x Mo Positive Control: HepG2 cell lysate Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.  Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
