- Gamma-aminobutyric acid tye A (GABAA) receptors are members of the neurotransmitter ligand-gated ion channels that mediate neuronal inhibition on binding GABA. The effects of GABA on GABAA receptors are modulated by a range of therapeutically important drugs, including barbiturates, anaesthetics and benzodiazepines. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: Mouse brain membrane lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with G1015-17. Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse and a chemiluminescence detection system. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HepG2 cell lysate Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
