- Frizzled-2 belongs to the Frizzled family of 7-pass transmembrane receptors for Wnt proteins. Frizzled-2 is most extensively studied for its role in cardiac development and neural crest differentiation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Direct ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse Frizzled-2. Using a colorimetric detection system, the detection limit for rmFrizzled-2 is ~25ng/lane and 5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions, respectively. Direct ELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse Frizzled-2. The detection limit for rmFrizzled-2 is ~5ng/well. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
