Extra Details:: FSH is a gonadotropin and a glycoprotein having two subunits. The alpha subunit is similar to those of LH, HCG, and TSH. The beta subunit is different from the other hormones and confers its biochemical specificity. FSH is secreted by the basophilic cells of the anterior pituitary. FSH stimulates the growth and maturation of the ovarian follicles in the female and stimulates spermatogenesis in the male. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Matched Pairs: Suitable for use as the capture, F5900-04D or solid phase antibody. Matched to F5900-04C, F5900-04F as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
