Extra Details:: FSH is a gonadotropin and a glycoprotein having two subunits. The alpha subunit is similar to those of LH, HCG, and TSH. The beta subunit is different from the other hormones and confers its biochemical specificity. FSH is secreted by the basophilic cells of the anterior pituitary. FSH stimulates the growth and maturation of the ovarian follicles in the female and stimulates spermatogenesis in the male. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Pair: Capture: F5900-02B Detection: C5069-61G Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
