- Extra Details:
- Ficolin-2 is a lectin that contains fibrinogen-like and collagen-like domains. It circulates as a tetramer of disulfide-linked homotrimers. Ficolin-2 associates with MASP proteins to activate complement. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml with recombinant human Ficolin‑2 under non-reducing conditions only Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
