Extra Details:: M-Ficolin (Ficolin-1) is a non-serum protein that is expressed in leukocytes and lung. M-Ficolin precipitates with mannose-binding lectin (MBL)-associated serine proteases (MASP)-1 and MASP-2, indicating that M-Ficolin forms complexes with MASP-1 and MASP-2, recognizes certain types of bacteria and subsequently activates the lectin pathway. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
