- Fibronectin seems to play a key role in the tumor cell extracellular matrix during invasive tumor growth. Increasing expression of stromal fibronectin has been reported during tumor progression. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10; Incubation Time 1 hr at room temperature. (frozen tissue and cell preparations, on paraffin-embedded tissue after microwave treatment) Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: 1:5-1:10 Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human skin, ulcerating tissue. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
