- Extra Details:
- Fibroblast Growth Factor-21 (FGF-21) belongs to the FGF family of heparin-binding polypeptides and is most closely related to FGF-23. Both proteins are synthesized as a precursor with hydrophobic signal peptides. FGF-21 is most highly expressed in the liver. Mature human FGF-21 shares 82%aa sequence homology with mature mouse FGF-21. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry (Intracellular): 2.5ug/10e6 HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line, fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with saponin. Immunocytochemistry: 15-30ug/ml using Immersion fixed HepG2 human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-06F: IgG, H&L (FITC) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo I1904-65V: IgG, (FITC) Pab RbxMo I1904-66A: IgG, (FITC) Pab Rb xMo Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
