- Extra Details:
- FGF-9 is a heparin binding growth factor that belongs to the FGF family. Proteins of this family play a central role during prenatal development and postnatal growth and regeneration of a variety of tissues, by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF-9 targets glial cells, astrocytes cells and other cells that express the FGFR 1c, 2c, 3b, 3c and 4. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 0.25-1ug/ml using (100ul/well antibody solution) In conjunction with anti-mouse FGF9 (F4211-75E) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant mouse FGF9. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mouse FGF9 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
