Extra Details:: Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, Western Blot and ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Neutralization: ND50 is ~0.2-1ug/ml in the presence of 1ng/ml of rhFGF6 and 1ug/ml of heparin, using the FGF6 responsive NR6R-3T3 fibroblasts as target cells. The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for this antibody is defined as that concentration of antibody required to yield one-half maximal inhibition of the cytokine activity on a responsive cell line, when that cytokine is present at a concentration just high enough to elicit a maximum response. Western Blot: 0.1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
