Extra Details:: bFGF (FGF-2) is a member of a family of seven peptides that are potent regulators of cell proliferation, differentiation and function. bFGF stimulates the proliferation of cells of mesodermal origin and many cells of endodermal, ectodermal and neuroectodermal origin. bFGF also induces neuron differentiation, survival and regeneration and stimulates astrocyte migration. bFGF may also be involved in the production of a variety of pathological conditions arising from excessive cell proliferation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA (indirect): 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
