Extra Details:
Human D-dimer protein is a blood test performed in the medical laboratory to diagnose thrombosis. Since human D-Dimer(s) introduction, human D-Dimer protein has become an important test performed in patients suspected of thrombotic disorders. While a negative human D-Dimer result practically rules out thrombosis, a positive human D-Dimer result can indicate thrombosis but also has other potential causes. Human D-Dimer(s) main use is to exclude thromboembolic disease where the probability is low. Human D-dimer testing is of clinical use when there is a suspicion of deep venous thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE). In patients suspected of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), Human D-dimer(s) protein may aid in the diagnosis. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
