Extra Details:: AFP is normally synthesized in the liver, intestinal tract, and yolk sac of the fetus. Antibody to AFP has been shown to be useful in detecting hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) and germ cell neoplasms, especially yolk sac tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Enzyme conjugation, radiolabeling or solid phase immobilization. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Pair: Suitable for use as the capture or solid phase antibody. Matched to F4100-06 as the detection or conjugate (label) antibody. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
