- Extra Details:
- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry: 10ug/ml shows positive immunostaining for Fak in Ref 52 cells fixed with 3.7% formaldehyde. Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects FAK in RIPA lysates from murine 3T3 and previously in human A431 RIPA cell lysate. 3T3 cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with F0019-56 (1ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using an IgG (HRP) goat anti-rabbit and a chemiluminescence detection system. Immunoprecipitation: 4ug immunoprecipitates FAK from 500ug of murine 3T3 RIPA lysate. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-39: IgG, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-40A: IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-46Q: IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab Gt xRb I1904-40D: IgG, H&L (FITC) Pab Gt xRb I1904-41: IgG, X-Adsorbed (FITC) Pab Gt xRb I1904-46N: IgG, H&L (FITC) Pab Gt xRb Positive Antigen Control: F4209 3T3 cell lysate; use 20mg per lane for minigels. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
