- Extra Details:
- Estrogen receptor can be detected in up to 70% of breast carcinomas. The quantity of estrogen receptor protein is important for prognosis and treatment of breast cancer. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1:5-1:10, microwave treatment recommended Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Positive Control: ER-positive cell line (e.g. MCF-7). Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
