Extra Details:: Enterococci form part of the lactic acid bacteria family and are the third most important bacterial genus in hospital infections, especially Enterococcus faecium. In food they can spoil processed meats but they are equally important for ripening and aroma development of certain traditional cheeses and sausages, and are used as human probiotics. However, they possesses a broad spectrum antibiotic resistance which has important implications to human health and disease. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence. Also suitable for conjugation purposes. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Titer: >1:1000 by Immunofluorescence Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
