Extra Details:: Endophilin 3 is a 40kD protein. Unlike endophilin 1 that is expressed in the brain and endophilin 2 that is found in the brain and testis, endophilin 3 shows a more ubiquitous expression pattern. Endophilins have been proposed to play roles in membrane trafficking reactions through interactions with endocytic protein via physical or chemical modifications of the membrane bilayer, particularly in presynaptic vesicle trafficking at nerve terminals. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Immunogen): 0.1-1ug/ml Western Blot (Mouse and rat): 1-3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
