- Extra Details:
- MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. Polycomb group proteins are important for maintaining transcriptional silencing. One conserved PcG complex, PRC2, is composed of several proteins including the histone methyltransferase EZH2, the WD-repeat protein EED (Embryonic ectoderm development), and the Zn-finger protein Suz12. Transcriptional repression mediated by EED involves histone deacetylation, while the EZH2 methylates histone H3 on lysine 27. EED protein is present in four isoforms. These EED isoforms selectively associate with distinct EZH2-containing complexes, resulting in differential targeting of their associated methyltransferase activity. These complexes play a role in Hox gene silencing, X-inactivation, germline development, stem cell pluripotency and cancer metastasis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Jurkat cell lysate, 3T3/A31 cell lysate Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
