- Extra Details:
- Dendritic cell and Monocyte Chemokine-like protein (DMC) is a secreted molecule that is closely related to CXCL8/IL-8 and CXCL14/BRAK. DMC is consitutively produced by airway and intestinal epithelium and induces the chemotaxis of monocytes and dendritic cells. It is strongly upregulated in proliferating vascular endothelial cells and some carcinomas. Mature human DMC shares 73% and 71% aa sequence identity with bovine and mouse DMC, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 0.25ug/10e6 cells. For intracellular staining, A549 human lung carcinoma cells must first be fixed and permeabilized using 4% paraformaldehyde, 0.1% saponin in PBS. Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml detects DMC in immersion fixed A549 cells. Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
