- Extra Details:
- DNA-dependent Protein Kinase (DNAPKcs) phosphorylates transcription factors, including Sp1, Oct-1, p53, and SV40 large T antigen in vitro. In vivo, it is involved in repairing double strand DNA breaks. MW of Antigen: 460kD Epitope: aa1-2713 Applications and Recommended Dilutions: Inhibits (50%) DNA-dependent Phosphorylation Immunofluorescence Immunoprecipitation (Native and denatured) (Use Protein G; Ab at 2ug/mg protein lysate) Western Blotting (Ab 1-2ug/ml for 2hrs at RT) Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin) (Ab 2-4ug/ml for 30 min at RT) * [Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.] The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the investigator. Positive Control: LS174T cells. Tonsil. Cellular Localization: Nuclear Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
