- Extra Details:
- Cytokeratin 14 is one of two cytokeratins that can distinguish stratifying epithelial cell types from simple epithelial cell types, being expressed by stratifying/keratinocytes cell types but not by simple epithelial cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: frozen sections Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer is recommended for this purpose. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Positive Control Tissue: Skin Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
