- Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml detects CFTR in RIPA lysates from CFTR-transfected BHK cells. Reported to detect CFTR from a human T84 colon carcinoma epithelial cell lysate. CFTR-transfected BHK cell lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with C9040-01 (0.5ug/ml). Proteins were visualized using IgG (HRP) goat anti-mouse secondary antibody and a chemiluminescence detection system. Note: Do not boil the lysate. Instead incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes. Immunoprecipitation: Immunoprecipitates CFTR from a T84 cell lysate. Immunocytochemistry: Reported to immunostain CFTR in T84 cells. Note: CFTR runs as a diffuse protein on SDS-PAGE. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Control: Pancreas. RIPA cell lysates Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-06C: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo I1904-06H: IgG, H&L (HRP) (X-Adsorbed) Pab Gt xMo Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
