Extra Details:
Cyclin D1 is a 36kD nuclear protein. The cell cycle in eukaryotic cells is mediated by the formation, activation, and deactivation of complexes containing Cyclin-Dependent Kinases (CDK) and cyclins. D-type cyclins usually associate with CDK4 (p34 PSK-J3). Complexes with CDK2 and CDK5 have also been reported (1). D-type cyclins are necessary for cells to achieve the G1 to S transition in the cell cycle (2). The D-type cyclins have been shown to associate with PCNA, the retinoblastoma gene product, p21, and other proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: FLISA: 0.1-1.0ug/ml Western Blot: 0.3-1.0ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 5ug Immunohistochemistry: 2-10ug/ml. Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded sections require a Heat Induced epitope Retrieval (HIER) step prior to staining. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Source: Ascites Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
