Extra Details:: CTGF (connective tissue growth factor) is a 38 kD, cysteine-rich, secreted peptide. It is a new member of the peptide family that include seruminduced immediate early gene products, a v-src-induced peptide, and a putative proto-oncogene. Among the many functions of the CTGF gene family are embryogenesis, wound healing, and regulation of extracellular matrix production. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:5000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
